A note to you, the consumer.

'Through the years of working with clients who have muscular pain and dysfunction, they now realize the importance of Therapeutic Bodywork. I believe that as an athlete and therapist , the body needs to be replenish with good nutrition, rest, excercise, stretching and therapeutic massages and  sometimes specific bodywork! '

Benefits of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

Any Therapeutic Massage serves as an alternative to reducing stress by unwinding the muscular skeletal system tension and calming the nervous system from stress.  When muscle tension is present, it produces stress on the nervous system. The tension of muscles will cause the muscles to spasm and develope toxins. These toxins cause pain because the circulation has been reduced. A therapeutic massage restores the circulation by pulling out the toxins and metabolic waste products. It releases endorhins which is the results of feeling great after a massage!

Bodywork consists of different modalities of myopathy treatments. Bodywork is different from massage because it uses different modalities and is specifically designed to reshape the body! It restores muscular function by releasing Myofascial Connective Tissues, Myofascial Trigger Points and Neuromuscular traumas. Treatment is based on postural misalignment and muscle function evaluation . The painful symptoms may result from an injury trauma, work related issues or sports injury. When your body is out of alignment, it causes compensation in your ability to perform basic movements and puts additional stress upon the joints. The muscles become restricted around the joints and a holding pattern developes. This holding pattern must be broken down by manipulating the soft tissues and connective tissues, relieving the pain cycle and releasing the joint pressure. I designed a golf bodywork program that works because many golfers have told me of their concerns of back, upper neck, shoulder, arm and wrist pain. Most of my clientele are golfers who I've helped throughout the years and after researching many other therapist, there is none like it in existance!

Neuromuscular Stimuli:

If your body has too much stimuli from painful muscles, the nerves become hyersensitive and causes increased pressure physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When we cannot release it back to a natural state of calmness, it creates undo stress and stress is not a healthy state for your mind, body or soul to be under. If your nervous system is continually operating under stress-it functions abnormally, creating sluggish gait movements, range of motion problem and low energy levels. You start craving carbohydrates and caffeine in order to replace the energy you don't have and it results in weight gain. It becomes a vicious cycle of trying to loose weight and keeping your energetic levels up. Then you may excercise and your muscles aren't responding as fast as you'd like. This causes soreness, pain and sometimes results with injuries. The bottom line is your still in pain before and afterwards. 'Pain is no longer an option when there is a solution-schedule yourself for a session and feel the difference a therapeutic massage does for your nervous system!

Facts:

Each year the medical profession is gathering more data about stress and how it affects the immune system. They have found that stress upon the body creates lack absortion of nutrition. Our bodies nervous systems and muscular systems, including our organs and visceral systems start to break down under stressful situations. We can reduce the amount of stress by implicating more calm, tranquil remedies and begin taking better care of our bodies. Myopathy  Bodywork and Therapeutic Massage helps to restores muscle function, generates circulation, decreases toxins, increases stamina, regenerates tissues, cells, oxygen and blood flow. Resulting in the bodies ability to restore the absortion of nutrients again, it opens the channels to restoring vitality. Besides making you happier from releasing endorphines, it promotes flexibility, decreases pain, increases movement and puts you back into your zone, where you belong! This is where my education and experience helps put an end to pain, without pain killers.
